100M Media Converters
Modulelink media converter transforms the transmission media of Ethernet signal from CAT5 to optical fiber. It can extend the transmission distance to several or hundred kilometer. Using media converter is a economical solution to achieve long distance transmission base on current status. This product supports IEEE802.3UI 100Base-Tx/Fx protocol, as well as full duplex and half duplex mode. The transmission media adopts Cat5 twisted-pair with typical length of 100 meter. It features the function of automatically identifying the through line and cross wire (10/100M).

Modulelink makes and supplies a full range of CWDM Mux-Demux and Optical Add Drop Multiplexer (OADM) units to suit all kinds applications and network solutions. The most popular ones are: Gigabit & 10G Ethernet, SDH/SONET, ATM, ESCON, Fibre Channel, FTTx and CATV. Modulelink's Coarse wavelength division multiplexer (CWDM Mux/Demux) utilizes thin film coating technology and proprietary design of non-flux metal bonding micro optics packaging. It provides low insertion loss, high channel isolation, wide pass band, low temperature sensitivity and epoxy free optical path. Modulelink CWDM Mux Demux products offers up to 16-channel or even 18-channel Multiplexing on a single fiber. Due the low insertion loss is needed in WDM networks, we can also add "Skip Component" in a CWDM Mux/Demux module to reduce the IL as an option. Standard CWDM Mux/Demux package type include: ABS box package, LGX package and 19" 1U rackmount.

Modulelink Dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) is a technology that puts together -- multiplexes -- data signals from different sources so they can share a single optical fiber pair while maintaining complete separation of the data streams. Each signal is carried on a separate light wavelength; the dense part of DWDM refers to the fact that more than 80 separate wavelengths, each about 0.8 of a nanometer (nm) wide, can share a single optical fiber.

Modulelink DWDM multiplexer/demultiplexer is designed and manufactured for multi-wavelength DWDM network applications. It works on an ITU grid with 100 GHz channel spacing based on thin-film filter (TFF) technology. The wavelength range of DWDM is from 1270nm to 1610nm with an optional ITU channel wavelength. It has a series of advantages, such as multi-kind of packaging structures, low insertion loss, high channel isolation, and so on.
