Modulelink Dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) is a technology that puts together -- multiplexes -- data signals from different sources so they can share a single optical fiber pair while maintaining complete separation of the data streams. Each signal is carried on a separate light wavelength; the dense part of DWDM refers to the fact that more than 80 separate wavelengths, each about 0.8 of a nanometer (nm) wide, can share a single optical fiber.

Modulelink DWDM multiplexer/demultiplexer is designed and manufactured for multi-wavelength DWDM network applications. It works on an ITU grid with 100 GHz channel spacing based on thin-film filter (TFF) technology. The wavelength range of DWDM is from 1270nm to 1610nm with an optional ITU channel wavelength. It has a series of advantages, such as multi-kind of packaging structures, low insertion loss, high channel isolation, and so on.

Modulelink 100GHz/200GHz wavelength multiplexer(100,200G DWDM OADM Module) utilizes thin film coating technology and proprietary design of non-flux metal bonding micro optics packaging to achieve optical add or drop at a ITU wavelength. It provides ITU channel center wavelength, low insertion loss, high channel isolation, wide pass band, low temperature sensitivity and epoxy free optical path. It can be used for wavelength add/drop in telecommunication network system.
