Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472. The optical transceiver is RoHS compliant as described in Application Note AN-2038 and compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, ITU-T G.693 VSR2000-2R1, SDH I-64.1 and OTN P1I1-2D1 (up to 2km), IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-LR/LW and 10G Fibre Channel 1200-SM-LL-L (up to 10km).

The transceivers use internal clock and data recovery (CDR) IC’s for the transmitter and receiver. This guarantees compliance with the SONET/SDH jitter requirements and it can set the electrical interface to be XFI-compliant as needed. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472. The optical transceiver is RoHS compliant as described in Application Note AN-2038 and compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, SONET OC-192 IR-2R/3R, SDH STM-64.2b/3b, OTN P1S1-2D2b, 10GBASE-ER/EW and support 8.5G and 10G Fibre Channel.

They support an optical link budget of 17dB to compensate for the higher fiber attenuation loss at 1310nm over 40km of G.652 single mode fiber. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472. The optical transceiver is RoHS compliant as described in Application Note AN-2038 and they utilize internal transmitter and receiver re-timer IC's for SONET/SDH jitter compliance and to enhance host cards' signal integrity.
